10 Philosophy: Logic Quiz

On Friday, September 27th we’ll have a quiz on the material we’ve covered on logic. For this quiz you should know

  • definitions of the relevant terms (statement, validity, etc.),
  • how to represent the logical structure of a statement, and
  • how to use truth tables to analyze statement types and to determine whether or not an argument is valid/invalid.

11 HL: Polynomials and Roots Test

We have our test on polynomials and roots (which covers the material from Chapter 4 up to, and including, Chapter 5 Section I) on Tuesday, September 24th.

For this test, calculators will not be permitted.

To prepare for the test, have a look at relevant questions from the Review Sets at the end of Chapters 4 and 5.
