12 HL: Polynomials and Complex Numbers Test

On Thursday, October 2nd we’ll have a test on all the material we’ve covered on polynomials and complex numbers, corresponding to Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 (Sections A to I) of the green textbook. Note that this is a no calculator test.

13 SL: Introduction to Calculus Test

We’ll have a test on Friday, October 3rd. This test will cover all the material we’ve seen so far on derivatives: the chain rule, product rule, quotient rule, and derivatives of various types of functions (trigonometric, etc.). Calculators are permitted.

A set of review questions is available here, and the mark schemes are here.

Negative Indices (Integers)
Negative Indices (Fractions)

11 Math Standard: Exponent Laws

Complete the following activities before class on Tuesday, September 23rd. (You should also have completed the Inspired AI nugget on Surds.)
